Full Time ALL OVER: It ends 3-1
90
There will be four minutes of stoppage time
87
INTO THE WALL: Walcott takes it himself but can’t beat the wall. The ball falls to Sagna who fires an effort over the bar.
86
FREE-KICK IN A DANGEROUS POSITION: Walcott is fouled right on the egde of the area…
85

84
Substitution Stoke change: Diao on for Jones
82
GOAL! - Jonathan Walters 3 : 1 Goal for Stoke: Walters restores the two-goal advantage almost immediately.
82
Robin drives at the penalty area and smashes a right-footed shot through Begovic.
81
GOAL! - Robin van Persie 2 : 1 GOAL FOR ARSENAL: Van Persie makes it 2-1…
79
Substitution FINAL ARSENAL CHANGE: Rosicky replaces Song.
78
BETTER FROM ARSENAL: Chamakh and Sagna link-up well and the right back has a cross blocked. From the resulting throw-in, Begovic flaps and Van Persie smashes an effort high over the bar.
77
SZCZESNY CLATTERED: The goalkeeper claims a corner and gets a whack from Shawcross. Szczesny spills the ball but the referee blows, rightly, for a free-kick.
76
DECENT STOP FROM SZCZESNY: Whelen fires an effort towards Szczesny’s near post and he sticks out a strong hand behind it.
75
REMINDER: Stay online after the final whistle for our post-match show. Dan Roebuck will be taking your calls as well as your e-mails so phone the studio on 020 7607 3200 (from inside the UK) or +44 20 7607 3200 (from outside the UK).
74
SONG CAN’T CONTROL IT: Wilshere lofts a ball to the back post but Song, who is always stretching, can’t bring it down.
73
HOW HAS THAT NOT GONE IN?: Bendtner drives into the area from the left and slips a clever ball to Van Persie. Six yards out, with only Begovic to beat, Robin hits his effort straight at the Stoke keeper. What a save
71
Substitution Pennant replaced by Pugh
69
Yellow Card And so is Pennant
69
Yellow Card FLASHPOINT: Wilshere went in on Pennant and then Wilkinson retaliated by going in late on Wilshere. Wilshere and Pennant square-up to each other and Jack is booked
64
NOT HAPPENING FOR ARSENAL: Van Persie and Wilshere have both stepped on the ball and slipped over when in possession. The men in yellow are still giving everything but Stoke look quite comfortable
63
REMINDER: Stay online after the final whistle for our post-match show. Dan Roebuck will be taking your calls as well as your e-mails so phone the studio on 020 7607 3200 (from inside the UK) or +44 20 7607 3200 (from outside the UK).
61
STOKE ATTACK: Walters has an effort well blocked and then Pennant lofts a ball back into the area that Szczesny claims.
60
Yellow Card BENDTNER GETS A YELLOW CARD: A frustrated Bendtner chops down Pennant who had won the ball from him.
58
STOKE THROW-IN: Chamakh heads away well at the front post.
57
WEAK EFFORT FROM VAN PERSIE: But good play from Arsenal. Wilshere, Chamakh and Van Persie are all involved. Sagna crosses for Van Persie whose weak effort is easily dealt with by Begovic.
55
SAGNA GETS A WHACK TO THE FACE: He tries to go past Wilkinson on the right and gets a flailing arm to the side of his face. Ouch. No free kick given though
54

53
CHAMAKH’S TURN TO HAVE A GO: The other substitute tires to drill one into the bottom-left corner from outside the area but screws his effort harmlessly wide.
52
BENDTNER TRIES TO BEND ONE: That’s positive from the substitute. He curls an effort just wide of the right-hand post.
51
ARSENAL PRESSING: Walcott breaks and feeds Van Persie, who slips as he tries to cross.
50
Substitution And Huth comes off. He is replaced by Faye.
48
HUTH DOWN IN A HEAP: He looks in a bit of pain. Ahead of the FA Cup Final, that will be a worry for Stoke.
47
BIG CHANCE FOR HUTH: Pennnat’s corner is powerfully headed over by the defender from eight yards. There is a bit of handbags afterwards and Song is given a talking to by the referee. Huth appeared to pull Song over as he won that header which wasn't spotted.
46
Those changes will give Arsenal more of a physical threat up front. Bendtner scored a wonderful header here last season.
46
TACTICS: Bendtner goes onto the left, Walcott on right and Van Persie behind Chamakh. So Robin drops into the ‘Cesc’ role.
Kick Off WE'RE OFF
46
Substitution And Chamakh is on for Ramsey
46
Substitution Bedntner is on for Arshavin
46
The two teams are back out and it looks like Bendtner is coming on for Arsenal. And so is Chamakh
Half Time THERE’S THE HALF-TIME WHISTLE: Arshavin’s corner is headed away and the referee brings the first period to a close.
45
ONE MORE CHANCE?: Whelen heads behind for an Arsenal corner.
43
HALF TIME CAN’T COME QUICK ENOUGH: Van Persie fires an effort goalwards but is flagged offside.
41
WALTERS HITS THE BAR: He outmuscles Sagna and clips the bar from a tight angle. Stoke are well on top now.
40
GOAL! - Jermaine Pennant 2 : 0 Goal for Stoke: Pennant’s deflected effort from range finds the back of the net. The ball takes a wicked deflection off Djorou and loops over Szczesny
38
STOKE ON TOP NOW: The home side are doing all the pressing and Delap has launched a few throws into the Arsenal area.
35
ARSHAVIN LOOKS TO GET AWAY FROM HUTH: Van Persie wriggles away from a few challenges before slipping a wonderful ball through to Arshavin. Huth makes a brilliant sliding challenge and wins the ball.
34
NO CHANCES OF NOTE: All being played in midfield at the moment.
33
Do you anticipate changes at the break? Get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio.
31
TWO EFFORTS BLOCKED: First Wilshere and then Ramsey have shots blocked by Whitehead and Shawcross. Stoke are defending well here and throwing themselves at everything.
30
ARSENAL LOOK TO RESPOND: But the home fans are getting right behind their team now and that goal has buoyed them.
28
GOAL! - Kenwyne Jones 1 : 0 Van Persie didn’t head the ball away at the front post and Jones got to the ball ahead of Djourou to bundle it home.
27
Goal for Stoke: Jones diverts the ball home from that free kick
25
FREE KICK STOKE: Arshavin clumsily bundles over Pennant right by the corner flag on the right. Silly from Arshavin and it presents the home side a chance to deliver into the box…
24
POOR BALL FROM SAGNA: That’s a shame. How many passes was that from Arsenal? It culminates in Theo and Sagna play a neat one-two but the defender can’t beat the first man from the byline.
22
EARLY BALL FROM VAN PERSIE: Robin crosses well from the left but Huth is in the right place to head away.
21
STOKE DEFENCE: Whenever Arsenal have the ball there are red shirts, in numbers, behind the ball which is making them difficult to break down.
20
SAGNA HAS A GO: More patient build-up on the edge of the Stoke area presents a half-chance for the right back. Sagna cuts back onto his left foot and drills wide from just outside the box.
18
SONG WEAVING: Alex links well with Van Persie and drives towards the area. Shawcross does well to toe the ball away from the Arsenal man and Begovic claims.
17
HIGH TEMPO: This has been a decent game so far.
16
What have you made of it so far? Get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio.
15
FLASHPOINT: Wilshere challenges Whitehead late and the Stoke man doesn’t like it. Players from both sides get involved and eventually it all calms down.
14
WALCOTT LASHES OVER: Pennant’s high clearance gets caught up in the wind, taking it back into the penalty area. It drops to Theo but he can’t hit the target.
13
FIRST DELAP THROW: Song heads away but only as far as Delap again, whose early cross is punched clear by Delap. Pennant tries to lift the ball back over the goalkeeper but his effort misses the target.
12
DOMINANCE?: Arsenal have enjoyed 72 per cent of the possession so far.
11
GOOD CHALLENGE FROM DJOUROU: Walters breaks with purpose and drives at Koscielny before trying to slip in Jones. Djourou sticks out a leg and wins the ball expertly.
10
OPENING TEN MINUTES: Arsenal have looked to get the ball forward whenever possible and have, as expected, seen a lot more of the ball than Stoke. Wilshere, Ramsey and Song have done well in midfield while Djourou and Koscielny have dealt with Jones well.
9
KOSCIELNY FIRES OVER: The corner reaches the back post but the French defender can only divert his effort off target.
8
KEEP BALL FROM ARSENAL: The away side move the ball quickly, with one and two touch passing, and it leads to a corner on the left when Gibbs’ cross is blocked.
7
REAL CHANCE: Oh, Van Persie should do better there. Ramsey is involved and he dinks a ball through to the Dutchman inside the area who toes it over from eight yards. Great play from Ramsey
6
WALTERS DOES WELL: The Stoke frontman bursts down the right but can’t find a team-mate with his cross and Szczesny gathers.
5
TACTICS: All as we expected from Arsenal. Arshavin on the left, Walcott on the right and Ramsey down the middle.
4
AMBITIOUS EFFORT FROM WHELAN: That goes miles over.
3
CONDITIONS: It is VERY windy. The wind is behind Arsenal in the first half but it will make Stoke’s high balls more difficult to deal with.
3
DOWN THE OTHER END: Jones shanks a shot well wide. A bright opening from both sides.
2
POSITIVE START: Good work from Wilshere on the left presents a half-chance for Arshavin. Whose snap-shot goes wide of the left post.
1
BOOS FOR ARSENAL: And Ramsey. That’s poor form the home fans.
Kick Off WE’RE UNDERWAY: Aaron and Robin get us going with Arsenal kicking from right to left in this first half.
Ramsey and Shawcross shake hands as the two teams go through the customary pre-match procedures.
And here they come! The sun is shining but it is quite cold in Staffordshire. The Gunners led by Robin.
The atmosphere is building at Britannia Stadium and the two teams are in the tunnel. Arsenal will be wearing yellow shirts, recurrent and yellow shorts.
Just 20 minutes until kick-off now. What do you make of today’s starting XI? www.arsenal.com/studio.
Tony Pulis’ side are just six days from the first FA Cup Final appearance in their history. Hopefully they will have one eye on that game and Arsenal can turn up the pressure on the top two with victory.
For Stoke, Ryan Shawcross captains the hosts and Rory Delap starts.
And, as expected, Aaron Ramsey starts.
Johan Djourou has passed a late fitness test but Cesc Fabregas (thigh) and Samir Nasri (hamstring) miss out. Thomas Vermaelen returns to the squad for the first time since August and is on the bench.
So Arsène Wenger makes two changes from the side that beat Manchester United. Gael Clichy has failed to shake off a hamstring problem so Kieran Gibbs makes his first start since March 12.
The Arsenal team is in, and here it is: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Djourou, Gibbs, Song, Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott, Arshavin, Van Persie. The subs today are: Lehmann, Vermaelen, Rosicky, Squillaci, Eboue, Chamakh, Bendtner
Arsenal.com reporter Chris Harris will be alongside commentator Dan Roebuck and they'll be taking your e-mails during the game and fielding your calls in our post-match show. I'll give you those all-important numbers later. In the meantime get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio.
Welcome to Arsenal TV Online for another MatchDay Show. It gets underway at 1.35pm (UK time) with the best bits from the manager’s pre-match press conference, an exclusive interview with Emmanuel Frimpong plus all the breaking team news.
This afternoon’s trip to Staffordshire will also see Aaron Ramsey return to Britannia Stadium for the first time since breaking his leg there last season. He is expected to start with Cesc ruled out with a thigh injury.
Arsène Wenger knows Arsenal ARE still involved in the Premier League title race. It may be unlikely but a win today would put us right back in the mix ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Manchester United later.
“There's a little chance, yes. At the moment we have a five per cent chance to be in the battle. So the most important thing is for us to give absolutely everything to be in there. After that you never know.”
