Full Time ALL OVER: How Arsenal haven’t won that game is anyone’s guess!
90
BEATEN AWAY BY HART: Van Persie stings the goalkeepers hands
90
LAST CHANCE SALOON: Arsenal have a free kick. 30 yards out in a central position…
90
CITY RUN DOWN THE CLOCK: Djourou is forced to put the ball out of play for a throw in deep in his own half
90
THERE IS GOING TO BE A LOT OF INJURY TIME: No word as of yet from the fourth official…
90
Substitution And City make a change: Boateng on for Tevez. The game has been stopped for a good five minutes now.
89
Red Card AND SO IS SAGNA. Dear, oh dear. Both teams down to ten men then
89
Red Card ZABALETA IS SENT OFF
89
SAGNA AND ZABALETA CLASH: And they pair’s heads come together. There could be troube here...
88
THE BALL IN ARSENAL’S HALF: Time is running out here
88
ZABALETA STAYING DOWN: He is caught by Arshavin as City break. But he is making the most of this as City try and slow the pace of play down
87
THREE MINUTES REMAINING: Can Arsenal find a deserved winner here? They have DOMINATED the game from start to finish tonight
86
Don't forget our post-match phone-in. Lines are open after the full-time whistle and the number you will need to dial is 020 7607 3200. If you're calling from outside the UK, dial +44 20 7607 3200.
85
DISAPPOINTING: His cross is too flat and Richards heads away
84
FREE KICK ARSENAL: Nasri is brought down by Kompany and Van Persie can cross from here. Central position, 35 yards from goal
82
TACTICS: It looks like Bendtner is going to play from the left. And Nasri, well, he seems to be floating everywhere at the moment
81
Substitution BENDTNER COMING ON: And a midfielder, Wilshere, is coming off
79
ARSENAL PLAYING AT A FRENETIC PACE: Song comes forward again but City are defending resolutely. They are well organised and proving to be very hard to break down
78
TOURE CLEARS: Arsenal attack again and Arshavin crosses low. The former Arsenal man is forced to hack away under pressure from Van Persie
77
ARSENAL COME FORWARD AGAIN: Song beats two men with a lovely run, but he just can’t quite offload the ball before a challenge comes in on the edge of the area
75
Don't forget our post-match phone-in. Lines are open after the full-time whistle and the number you will need to dial is 020 7607 3200. If you're calling from outside the UK, dial +44 20 7607 3200.
74
MILNER OFFSIDE: City worked a neat opening through Tevez and Johnson but Milner is flagged to be offside when he was in a dangerous position
72
VAN PERSIE DOWN IN A HEAP: He collides with Kompany as the pair go up for a header. I think the defender fell on the Dutchman as the pair fell to the ground.
71
HART TAKING HIS TIME: Do you think City are happy to play out for a draw here? I wouldn’t call it time wasting yet, but they are certainly taking their time
70
TACTICS: Nasri stays on the right and Arshavin takes Walcott’s place on the left. You maybe would have expected Arshavin to move to the right
69
Substitution NUMBER 14 ON THE BOARD: That means Walcott is the man coming off
68
CHANGE IMMINENT: Arshavin is stripped off and ready to come on…
67
RICHARDS RISES HIGHEST: But his header is weak and rolls harmlessly wide
66
JOHNSON GIVING CITY SOMETHING EXTRA: He has looked very lively since coming on and wins a corner off Clichy on the right
64
Substitution MAN CITY CHANGE: Johnson on for Jo. Mancini had to change something and, just after hour mark, the England winger is introduced
63
ALL ARSENAL: Wave after wave of red shirts burst forward. Surely this is only a matter of time...
61
WHAT A SAVE FROM HART: That was a ROCKET from Van Persie. Wilshere fed his team mate 25 yards out and he needed no second invitation to have a pop. That was heading straight for the top-left corner before the ‘keeper scampered across to make a superb stop
59
THEATRICS FROM JO: He is claiming to have got a whack from Song but the Arsenal man was nowhere near him. He’s down holding his face, this is embarrassing
58
CITY KEEPING THE BALL: And well the might. The away side haven’t seen much of the ball in this second half so when they get it, they certainly don’t want to lose it
56
Don't forget. Get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio
55
GREAT SLIDING CHALLENGE FROM ZABALETA: A ball gets played in behind the left back and, with Walcott racing onto the loose ball, he has time his tackle immaculately to put the ball behind for a corner
54
RICHARDS ATTACKS: Good strength from the right back but he can’t quite get a cross and Arsenal clear
53
MAN CITY CAN’T GET OUT: It’s ALL Arsenal yet again in this second half. The home side are moving the ball really well and City are struggling to cope
52
WALCOTT NEARLY IN: He uses his pace well and Kompany is forced to toe the ball back to Hart who gathers
51
TEASING CROSS FROM WALCOTT: Into a dangerous position. But there is just a bit too much pace on the ball
50
WILD FROM VAN PERSIE: He cuts onto his left foot and fires high and wide of Hart’s goal from all of 25 yards
49
SUBS WARMING UP: Arshavin, Bendtner and Chamakh limber up in front of the Arsenal fans. Not a bad trio to bring on if they are needed
48
ARSENAL WIN A CORNER ON THE RIGHT: Walcott tries to stand a up ball to the back post but Kompany blocks and the ball goes behind
47
SAGNA DOWN: In the first minute of the second period he goes in for a 50/50 with Jo and the Man City man just catches him on the ankle. A sore one but he will be OK to carry on
46
AS YOU WERE: As I said, no changes to personne and no changes to shape
46
CITY GET THE SECOND HALF GOING: Tevez and Milner kick us off
45
CITY TRUDGE OUT: A good two minutes behind the Gunners, they are lead by captain Tevez
45
ARSENAL PLAYERS BACK OUT: It doesn’t look like any changes at half time, and why would there be after the first-half display?!
Half Time HALF TIME: How it’s still 0-0, I don’t know? How Arsenal aren’t winning this game, I really don’t know? The Gunners have hit the post THREE times and created numerous chances. To their credit Man City have defended well and it’s all square at the break
45
INTO INJURY TIME: And we will have two minutes of them
44
AS I SAY THAT: Djourou is forced to clear from under his own crossbar. Toure does brilliantly to get past Clichy and cross to the waiting Jo. Djourou makes a vital clearance with his back to goal and when the ball comes to Tevez on the edge of the area, he scuffs the ball harmlessly wide
43
ARSENAL ENDING THE HALF ON TOP: Walcott just can’t quite find Van Persie and is muscled off the ball on the edge of the area
42
VITAL BLOCK FROM DE JONG: Arsenal work the ball across the penalty area from left to right. Then Wilshere cuts back inside and feeds Fabregas on the edge of the area and he lets fly. The Dutch midfielder throws himself at the ball and just gets knick on the ball to send it over
41

40
VAN PERSIE CURLS ONE: Arsenal work a short corner well and the Dutch striker forces a smart save from Hart from outside the area
39
WINTERBURN: ‘It’s only a matter of time before Arsenal score’.
38
HANDBALL? Surely! Walcott races clear down the right and as he crosses into the box the ball is blocked by the left arm of Kompany. No doubt about it, that hit his arm. But the referee only gives a corner.
36
WILSHERE: He himself has spoken about the improvement in the physical side of his game and he is showing that again tonight. Against De Jong the 19-year-old is more than holding his own
35
GARETH BARRY: England international? Not on tonight’s showing. He woefully overhits a pass to.. well, no-one
33
SO CLOSE FROM TEVEZ: That’s what he can do if you give him space. The little Argentine plays a neat give and go with Toure before racing clear down the right. First time, he volleys just over from a tight angle
32
THE CAMERA PANS IN ON…: Patrick Vieira sitting on the Arsenal bench. Keane vs Vieira, now there was a rivalry.
31
ROY KEANE: Spotted in the crowd with a hat covering most of his face. Which is probably a clever move, he’s hardly the most popular man in Emirates Stadium.
30
IS THIS GOING TO BE ONE OF THOSE DAYS? Arsene Wenger must be starting to think I might be!
29
Yellow Card DE JONG GOES INTO THE BOOK: For a late foul on Wilshere in midfield
28
ARSENAL HIT THE POST… TWICE: Incredible! Fabregas smacks the ball against the inside of the post with Hart well and truly beaten. It comes out to Walcott who fires against the other post, though he was flagged for offside. Still, how unlucky can you get?
27
TEVEZ NEARLY SNEAKS IN: Barry floats a ball to the back post where Tevez is unmarked. He shins the ball back across goal and Song is forced to hack clear
26

25
ONE TEAM IN LONDON: Chelsea and Tottenham are both 1-0 down to early goals. Come on you Reds!
24
WALCOTT FIZZES WIDE: Clever play from Arsenal as they work a short free kick. The ball comes to Walcott who turns well inside the area and flashes an effort agonizingly wide of the far left post
23
WALCOTT HOBBLING: From that blocked cross. I think Zabaleta caught a bit of the man as well
22
ZABALETA DOES WELL, REALY WELL: Walcott runs at the left back and just as the winger puts a cross in, Zabaleta makes a great sliding tackle to block well
21
Yellow Card BARRY BLOCKS SAGNA: As the right back maraudes down the right and Barry is rightly booked
20
HALF-HEARTED APPEALS FOR A PENALTY: Walcott goes past Yaya Toure inside the area and slips. No real appeals there from Arsenal players and the ball goes out for a goal kick
19
WALCOTT vs ZABALETA: Who do you fancy? I know where my money would be if those two go up against each other
18
WALCOTT SCAMPERS DOWN THE RIGHT: He runs past De Jong and wins a throw in off Zabaleta
17
TERRIBLE: He tries to whip a ball to the back post but overhits it horribly and it goes sailing out of play for a goal kick.
16
CROSSING POSITION VAN PERSIE: At an angle 20 yards from goal…
15
FREE KICK ARSENAL: In a dangerous position. Van Persie flicks the ball away from Jo and is clipped by the City man.
14
A BIT OF CALM: City keep the ball in their own half as Barry drops off to get the ball from Toure. How many times will I say that tonight? I don’t think I’ve seen the England midfielder venture out of his own half as of yet
12
EMIRATES BUZZING: The crowd still seem to be on a high after the Chelsea win. That, coupled with the pulsating start to the game, is making for a cracking atmosphere
11
Winterburn; ‘Arsenal have dominated the play’. And he’s not wrong in this opening 11 minutes
10
What have you made of this then? Get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio
9
THIS IS INCREDIBLE: Great play from Arsenal again. City struggle to scramble the ball away and when Fabregas knocks a square ball to Wilshere inside the area he side-foots straight at Hart. The Gunners have really started like they mean business here
8
VAN PERSIE SMACKS THE POST: He has a go from 18 yards out and with Hart beaten the ball thundered against the base of the left post
7
CITY LOOK DANGEROUS ON THE BREAK: Yaya Toure breaking from midfield with Tevez and Jo in support.
5
TACTICS: By the way: Nasri on the left, Walcott on the right and Cesc down the middle. Song and Wilshere holding. No surprises there.
4
WHAT AN OPENING: There has been a frenetic start to the game here. End-to-end doesn’t do this justice! Koscielny and Toure both make vital challenges in their own penalty areas. Surely this pace can’t continue?
3
WILSHERE HITS ONE: It’s Arsenal’s turn to attack and Wilshere lets fly from 25 yards. His effort is straight at Hart who gathers at the second attempt
2
CITY STRAIGHT DOWN THE OTHER END: The ball is worked across to Milner who flashes an effort just wide of the left post. That was close
2
HOW HAS THAT NOT GONE IN? Oh, how unlucky. Nasri does brilliantly to beat two men and get to the edge of the area. He draws his man and feeds Wilshere on the left. Wilshere squares the ball across for Van Persie who would have been left with an empty net but the pass is overhit and Van Persie can't reach it
1
ARSENAL WITH THE BALL EARLY ON: Song tries to feed the ball through for Walcott on the right but Zabaleta intercepts. Positive start from men in red
Kick Off AND WE’RE UNDERWAY: Fabregas and Van Persie get proceedings going
HUDDLE: The Arsenal players give each other a few final words of encouragement before the two captains meet
And here’s that increasingly popular Premier League handshake music. A must-have for all Ipod’s?
Kick Off Here they come!
The players are in the tunnel and awaiting referee Mike Jones’ instructions to enter the field
Gunnersaurus is showing some neat touches on the pitch. Hopefully we won’t need him to come on as a super-sub.
There is rain in their air. Well, I think it’s official term is sleet. The type that seems to just hang in the air under the glaring floodlights. Last time we were here the Emirates was rocking during the thumping, I think we can call it that, of Chelsea. I wonder if the home fans can re-create that atmosphere tonight?
Emirates is starting to fill up as ‘The Wonder of You’ plays out around the stadium. If this doesn’t get you in the mood for watching Arsenal, nothing will.
Both sets of players have made their way back down the tunnel and into their respective dressing rooms as kick off gets ever nearer.
For tonight’s visitors: There is NO Emmanuel Adebayor in their squad. They are warming up in front of me to my right and surprisingly Jo is preferred to Adam Johnson in their starting line-up
The Arsenal substitutes tonight are Rosicky, Denilson, Squillaci, Arshavin, Chamakh, Bendtner and Szczesny. Plenty of talent there I think you’ll agree
Back to that team news: Arsene Wenger sticks with the same starting XI that beat Birmingham so convincingly on Saturday.
The Pole is back warming up and looks fine. Panic over although he’s still stretching his right shoulder excessively
I’ve taken my seat in the press box and could have some worrying news. Lukasz Fabianski has fallen awkwardly in the warm up and looks in a fair bit pain. I think he’s hurt his shoulder but he should be OK to play
The Arsenal team is in and here it is: Fabianski, Sagna, Koscielny, Djourou, Clichy, Wilshere, Song, Fabregas, Nasri, Walcott, Van Persie. More to follow...
My first job will be to bring you the teams and I will bring them to you as soon as I have them.
What are your thoughts ahead of the match Arsenal fans? Are Manchester City really title contenders this season? Do you think the boss needs to dip into the transfer market in January? And tell me… What team do you think the boss should pick today?
Arsenal legend Nigel Winterburn will be alongside Dan Roebuck and they'll be taking your e-mails during the game and fielding your calls in our post-match show. I'll give you those all-important numbers later. In the meantime get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio
I'm Giuseppe Muro and I’ll be your text commentator tonight.
