Live Text isn't live anymore, this is a record of the match events.
Full Time ALL OVER: Comfortable in the end. What was I saying at the start of the night about putting the 5-1 defeat to bed... I think it's safe to say Arsenal have done that tonight

OLE: Spurs can't get near the ball and the away fans are loving this
108
ARSENAL KEEPING POSESSION: This is like a training excersie now and Spurs have given up. The stadium is getting very empty...very quickly

100
CHAMAKH SLIDES IN: Arshavin crosses for Chamakh who can't quite get on the end of it as he slides in

91
PENALTY FOR ARSENAL: Bassong brings down Nasri 34 seconds into extra time. He clips his heels, what a chance for Arsenal..Nasri is going to take it
Extra Time TOTTENHAM GET EXTRA TIME UNDERWAY
90
The players are getting spoken to by managers Pat Rice and Harry Redknapp
Full Time Full Time: 1-1 Extra time will be played as neither side can find a winner in the regulation 90 minutes. Keane’s equaliser takes us into an extra 30 minutes after Lansbury had put the Gunners ahead. Stay with us..
90
DEFLECTED: Eboue's shot gets deflected into the arms of Pletikosa
90
HACKED OFF THE LINE: The keeper misses a free kick completely and Caulker clears off the line ahead of Chamakh
90
THREE MINUTES OF STOPPAGE TIME
89
FLICK FROM ARSHAVIN: But he can't find another red shirt. That is frustrating at this stage in the game
88
Who will find the winner? Or are we looking at extra time?
87
CHAMAKH ATTACKING: Arsenal are looking for the winner but a good tackle dispossess Wilshere after a pass from Chamakh
85
LANSBURY STINGS THE HANDS OF PLETIKOSA: His snap shot is stopped by the ‘keeper from 20 yards after Palacios was caught in possession.
84
REMINDER: Stay online after the final whistle for our post-match show. Dan Roebuck and Petro Mnych will be taking your calls as well as your e-mails so phone the studio on 020 7607 3200 (from inside the UK) or +44 20 7607 3200 (from outside the UK).
83
SPURS HIT THE POST: From the free kick Bentley finds Keane who smacks the post. That was a real let off - from a yard out he probably should have scored
82
Yellow Card BOOKING FOR LANSBURY: A burst of pace from Sandro and Lansbury brings him down
81
OVERHIT FROM LANSBURY: He finds himself in a good crossing position but can’t find Chamakh in the area and it goes behind for a goal kick
80
STRAIGHT AT FABIANSKI: Bentley hits the target but that is comfortable for the Polish 'keeper
79
Yellow Card BOOKING FOR KOSCIELNY: Keane gets played though and is checked by the Arsenal man and he is booked. Shooting range and Bentley fancies it...
77
KOSCIELNY HEADS AWAY: A deep cross from Lennon is taken away from Pavlyuchenko at the last minute by a great header from the defender
76

74
NEARLY AN INSATNT IMPACT BY CHAMAKH: Gibbs gets to the byline before whipping in a great ball to the front post where Chamakh gets his head to the ball. Unfortunately he doesn’t quite get enough on it and it glances harmlessly wide
72
Substitution SUB FOR ARSENAL: Arshavin for Rosicky
72
Substitution SUB FOR ARSENAL: Chamakh FOR Vela
71
GREAT BLOCK BY BASSONG: Lansbury wins the ball and plays it back to Wilshere on the edge of the area - but Bassong is on his toes and denies Wilshere any space and gets the block in
70
KOSCIELNY DENIES LENNON: It looked as though Lennon had time to get a shot away in the area by the defender recovered with a really strong tackle
69
NASRI SHOT BLOCKED: Nasri beats Naughton down the left before cutting inside and shooting against a sliding Caulker. The ball comes to Wilshere on the edge of the area but his shot is weak and into the arms of Pletikosa
66
ARSENE WITH A PHONE IN HIS HAND: Presumably the manager is relaying information to Pat Rice on the bench. Who knows if he can hear him with all this noise though. Both sets of fans really getting behind their sides now!
65
LANSBURY TRIES TO PLAY IN VELA: But it gets cut out by Bassong
63
ARSENAL ATTACKING: Totteham get caught in possession and Rosicky lays the ball back for Denilson but Sandro beats him to the ball with a fine sliding tackle
60
SHOT FROM EBOUE: He drives into the area and has a shot from a tight angle that goes wide. Maybe he should have had a look up there to see Vela and Rosicky in the area, but he chose to shoot and the chance went begging

58
GREAT SLIDING TACKLE FROM PALACIOS: He had to time that well as it was inside the area. He dispossesses Nasri and plays the ball out of defence, good defending.
56
NASRI WINS IT: Good pressure from Nasri and he trys to play in Vela but it gets cut out by Bassong, unlucky. Both side are playing some brilliant football here. This has turned into a 'proper' cup tie. Like one of those your dad used to tell you about..
54
OVER FROM VELA: The stiker curls a shot over the bar from the dead ball. No problems for Pletikosa
53
RASH CHALLENGE FROM BASSONG: On Wilshere again, he really has been on the receiving end of some late tackles tonight. Free kick within shooting range
50
Should Fabianski have done better there? Was it offside? It doesn't matter because Spurs are back on level terms. The crowd respond and this promises to be a cracking 45 minutes..or dare I say longer... to confirm this game HAS to be settled tonight. Even if that means extra time and penalties..
49
GOAL! - Robbie Keane 1 : 1 GOAL: FOR SPURS. It’s Keane, he’s just come on! Naughton plays in Keane with a great through ball, there are appeals to offside but the flag stays down and Keane slots home. 1-1
Kick Off The second half gets underway
46
Substitution SUB FOR SPURS: Lennon on for Livermore
46
Substitution SUB FOR SPURS: Keane on for Dos Santos
Half Time GREAT HALF BY ARSENAL: They have been much the better side and go into the break with a 1-0 lead thanks to Lansbury’s strike after 15 minutes. Tottenham will have to re-think in the second half because they have been outplayed by a very confident Arsenal side here.
45
TWO MINUTES OF ADDED TIME
43
Yellow Card YELLOW CARD FOR NAUGHTON: For a late challenge on Rosicky as Arsenal broke after that tackle from Djourou
42
GREAT CHALLENGE FROM DJOUROU: Dangerous ball into the box and Djourou slides to beat Palacios to the ball. What a great tackle, brilliantly timed and it had to be!
41
POOR CLEARANCE FROM FABIANKSI: But luckily for the goalkeeper it falls to an Arsenal player. Let off
39
JUST OFFSIDE: Great through ball from Wilshere as he takes the whole Spurs defence out of the game. Gibbs runs onto the ball and rounds Pletikosa - only to be flagged offside. The replays show that Gibbs timed his run perfectly. Maybe that should have been 2-0
37
Yellow Card YELLOW CARD FOR PAVLYUCHENKO: For a late tackle on Djourou on the half way line. No complaints from the Russian
36
GOOD POSSESSION FROM ARSENAL: The Gunners hold the ball for a good minute in the Spurs half
33
GOOD CLEARENCE BY DJOUROU: Bentley crosses into the box and the French defender beats Pavlyuchenko to the ball to clear the danger
31
SO FAR SO GOOD: A period of possession from Spurs but that comes to an end when Bentley is flagged offside. Half an hour gone and Arsenal will be delighted with how the game is going. They have been much the better side so far
29
OVER HIT CROSS: From Naughton. But that catches Fabiasnki out. To his relief it flies over the bar.

27
SIDE NETTING: Spurs break with Palacios and Bentley. The ball comes to Pavlychenko who cuts inside and fires a shot into the side netting from the edge of the area. Spurs are having to play on the break here. Who is the home team here again?
25
WILSHERE GETS YET ANOTHER WHACK: This time from Palacios. That's the only way Spurs can stop Arsenal at the moment it seems.
24
DANGEROUS PLAY FROM ROSICKY: Positive running from the Arsenal man as he gets into the area and pulls the ball back but Bassong is on hand to hack clear. Spurs can get out of their own half here. Arsenal are really dominating things early on here.
22
WILSHERE GETS ANOTHER WHACK: This time from Sandro as his late challenge puts Wilshere on the turf. The free kick is from a central position and Denilson wastes an opportunity to get the ball into the box
20
Yellow Card YELLOW CARD FOR LIVERMORE: For a hefty challenge on Wilshere. He can have no complaints there, yellow card
18
SPURS BREAK: Lovely football from Arsenal but Spurs break with pace. Djourou commits himself and Bentley is baring down on the penalty area and fires a shot high and wide
17
The goal has really given Arsenal confidence as they string a number of passes together. Spurs can't get near the ball!
15
GOAL! - Henri Lansbury 0 : 1 GOAL: Wilshere plays a one two with Rosicky and whips a brilliant ball across the side yard box from the left. The Spurs defence are nowhere as Lansbury slides in to score a tap in. 1-0 TO THE ARSENAL
12
AMBITIOUS FROM LANSBURY: Livermore puts a pass astray and Lansbury picks the ball up and confidently has a strike on goal. He never really got hold of it though and it goes harmlessly wide to Pletikosa’s right-hand post
11
PENALTY CLAIM: Lansbury runs into the box and is tripped by Assou-Ekotto. That looked like a foul from here but Lansbury doesn’t really appeal. I’ve seen those given. The play continues and Denilson fires over from a tight angle. Arsenal are really seeing more of the ball now
9
FREE KICK IN A DANGEROUS POSITION: Djourou fouls Pavlyuchenko as the striker runs into down the left channel. Bentley wastes the free kick as he has a shot that goes harmlessly over Fabianski’s bar. That was a real let off
6
STRONG CHALLENGE: Good challenge from Lansbury on Livermore in the centre circle. The two youngsters went in for a 50/50 and the Arsenal man definitely came out on top there. Promising signs from the midfielder
5
DANGEROUS BALL INTO THE BOX: from Livermore on the left but no one is there for Spurs and Koscielny plays his way out from defence
4
LONG SHOT: Vela has a go from a long way out. That was never troubling the Croatian Pletikosa. High and wide
3
Wilshere picks out Nasri in the box but Assou-Ekotto disposes him. Promising forward play from Wilshere on the right
2
Early possession for Spurs. Gibbs breaks up the play and is fouled by Bentley by the corner flag
1
Early foul by Dos Santos. I’m sure that wont be the last strong challenge we see tonight
Kick Off Arsenal get the game underway to a cauldron of noise at White Hart Lane. Here we go!
Before kick off we are holding a minutes applause for ex-Spurs No. 9 Bobby Smith. Well observed by both sets of fans which is great to see. The end of the minute is greeting by a huge roar!
The atmosphere is really building and the players are nearly ready. How are you feeling? Nervous? Excited? Just want the game to start? A bit of all three? Kick off is nearly upon us and the wait for the first North London derby of the season is almost over
What are your thoughts ahead of the match Arsenal fans? How much does this game mean to you? What do you make of Arsene Wenger’s team selection? What impact will the manager not being on the touchline have on the Arsenal players? And let me know… what are you favourite memories of Arsenal-Spurs’ games? Email us via www.arsenal.com/studio, use the 'Facebook Chat' tab to interact with other fans or Tweet us via @ArsenalTVOnline. Don't forget our post-match phone-in. By the way I’m Giuseppe Muro and I'll be bringing you live text commentary on tonight's game from White Hart Lane.
Arsène Wenger will not be on the touchline for tonight’s game after accepting the FA’s charge of ‘using insulting and/or abusive language and behaviour amounting to improper conduct’… so Pat Rice will take charge of the team. Though neither side should need a manager to get motivated for a North London derby – I’ve got a feeling this could be a cracker.
The last time we travelled to Tottenham for a League Cup fixture was at the Semi-Final stage in 2007, and I won’t remind you of the score on that night. Tonight is a chance to put that result to bed and get one over on our nearest neighbors.
So the big news coming from that is that Henri Lansbury makes his first start for the senior side. A relatively experienced Arsenal side compared to what we’ve been used to in the Carling Cup in the past
The Arsenal team is in and here it is... Fabianski, Eboue, Koscielny, Djourou, Gibbs, Lansbury, Denilson, Wilshere, Rosicky, Nasri, Vela. Subs: Almunia, Sagna, Clichy, Arshavin, Chamakh, Eastmond, Emmanuel-Thomas
Liam Brady, David Rocastle, Thierry Henry… which Arsenal players can join the likes of these and write themselves into Arsenal Tottenham folk law forever?
The Carling Cup… that’s a meaningless competition that isn’t important isn’t it..? Try telling that to Arsenal and Tottenham fans tonight! The third round of the Carling Cup has presented us with a mouth-watering North London derby at White Hart Lane, and I for one can’t wait for kick off.
