Full Time And there's the full-time whistle...2-0
90
Substitution Substitution for Arsenal: Nasri for Arshavin
90
Substitution Substitution for Arsenal: Bendtner for Chamakh
90
Fabregas plays the striker in with a great lofted through ball and Chamakh fires through Hahnemann and into the net
90
GOAL! - Marouane Chamakh 0 : 2 GOAL FOR ARSENAL: Chamakh seals it on the break… 2-0 to the Gunners
90
MATCH-WINNING SAVE FROM FABIANSKI: Down low to his left after a stinging drive from Berra. How vital might that save be come the end of the season? What a stop!
90
WOLVES PRESSURE: They have a corner and Berra makes a hash of it at the back post
90
FOUR MINUTES OF STOPPAGE TIME… we need to hold on here! COME ON ARSENAL!
89
CLICHY WITH A VITAL TOUCH AT THE FAR POST: With Ebanks-Blake waiting the defender gets a touch on the ball and diverts it away from the striker
89
ARSHAVIN FIRES WIDE: From 25 yards his effort isn’t troubling Hahnemann
88
DOYLE INCHES AWAY FROM GETTING THE EQUALISER: He flashes an effort just past the far post from the edge of the area. That was so close, a little too close...
87
Substitution And Ward has to come off. Fletcher comes on to replace him
87
Yellow Card AND ONE FOR FABREGAS: Deservedly so when he comes in late on Ward as the defender clears on the left touchline
86
Yellow Card STEARMAN BOOKED: Arshavin breaks before getting chopped down by the defender who gets a yellow card
85
FABIANSKI PUNCHES UNDER PRESSURE: From a Wolves corner he opts to punch away. Not pretty, but effective..
83
ARSENAL LOOKING A LOT MORE SOLID SINCE DENILSON’S INTRODUCTION: Wolves are having a lot less success since he came on
81
HENRY BLOCKS ON THE LINE: From an Arsenal corner Squillaci and Djourou combine to somehow both fluff their lines before the latter prods goalwards from six yards. His effort beats Hahnemann but the Wolves captain was in the right place on the line to deny the Swiss defender
80
OUCH: And it hits Ebanks-Blake flush in the face. I’m pretty sure that was his first touch… and what a touch!
79
FREE KICK TO ARSENAL: 30 yards out and Fabregas is lining this one up from a central position…
78
Substitution Substitution for Wolves: Ebanks-Blake for Mancienne. Last throw of the dice from McCarthy with a striker on for a midfeilder?
75
ANOTHER GOOD HEADER FROM SQUILLACI: Ward plays a ball down the line and the French defender beats Doyle to it with a diving header to put it out for a throw in. Quietly he has gone about his business well tonight alongside Djourou
74
SONG HOLDING HIS SHIN: That looks painful. He and Milijas go in for a 50/50 and the Serbian catches the Arsenal man with his studs. I don’t think there was any intent there and he instantly holds up his hands up. Thankfully Song is on his feet and limping off the pitch
72
Yellow Card BOOKING FOR DENILSON: Wolves win a free kick after Song fouls Jarvis. The Brazilian gets a yellow card… and I’ll be honest no one is quite sure what for. Maybe delaying the free kick being taken? But Denilson looks as surprised as anyone

68
WARD THROUGH A CROWD OF BODIES: A corner is headed out to the Wolves man and he drills a shot through a sea of red and gold shirts. It gets deflected, unsurprisingly, and falls to the feet of Jarvis who hits a right-footed shot high, wide and handsome
67
Substitution Substitution for Arsenal: Denilson is on for Wilshere. Wenger clearly feels he needs to sure things up in midfield after all this Wolves pressure
65
GOOD TAKE FROM FABIANSKI: Foley crosses well towards the near post and the Pole makes a smart claim down low with Doyle again waiting
64
ARSHAVIN STRIKES THE BASE OF THE POST: There seemed to be nothing on as he picked up the ball 20 yards from goal. He had a go and hit the right-hand post with Hahnemann an on-looker
62
HUNT HEADS WIDE: The always dangerous Jarvis crosses well for the Republic of Ireland man who beats Sagna to the ball to head just left of the post from the penalty spot
60
CALM AFTER THE STORM: Arsenal are just settling back into a rhythm now…
58
AND THERE’S ANOTHER ONE: Doyle flicks on a corner and his header loops onto the roof of the net. That may have even caught the top of the bar. Arsenal are weathering a mini storm here…
57
WOLVES ON TOP HERE: Where has this come from? All of a sudden the home side are creating chances...
56
ROSICKY CLEARS OFF THE LINE: Doyle flicks on a cross and Stearman diverts the ball goalwards from two yards and Rosicky clears. What a let off…
55
OH WHAT A SAVE FROM FABIANSKI: That was a fantastic one-handed save from the goalkeeper! Doyle picks up the ball on the edge of the area and left footed he lets fly. That was heading into the top-right corner no doubt about it before the Pole sticks out a strong left hand to make a great flying save.
54
FABIANSKI CLAIMS: Wolves launch a long throw into the box and the ball is flicked on before the goalkeeper makes a good catch
53
WOLVES ARE QUEING UP: The ball gets crossed to the back post where Doyle wins a header and flicks it on to Henry, though he screws his shot well wide
51

49
OH WHAT A MISS: Stearman gives the ball straight to Rosicky 25 yards from goal with a terrible clearance. He takes a touch before playing the ball to Fabregas inside the area who controls the ball before firing a shot just wide of Hahnemann’s post. Oh he really should have scored there under no pressure
47
ARSHAVIN JUST CAN’T GET THERE: Fabregas slips a ball through to the Russian but Berra comes across to get there first and clear
46
WHAT A LET OFF: Wilshere slips inside his own area and Jarvis steals in before cutting a dangerous ball across the six-yard box for Milijas. His shot seems to hit his own man Doyle who was on the line and Sagna hacks clear. That could have been a nightmare start to the second hal
Kick Off AND WOLVES GET US UNDERWAY IN THE SECOND HALF…
45
THE PLAYERS ARE BACK OUT: Fabregas does a few last minute stretches as do a few of the Arsenal players.
Half Time And there's the half-time whistle... 1-0 to the Arsenal. Where have we heard that before?
43
IT’S ALL GONE A BIT FLAT: Not much noise from the Wolves fans (so much for what I said before the game) and that has transferred to the players on the pitch. They both seem to be content with this going into half time
42
JARVIS WHIPS IN A LOW CROSS: Wolves take a free kick quickly and Jarvis has space to cross dangerously into the six-yard box. Fabianski has to get low to claim the ball with Doyle lurking
40

39
IT ALL CALMS DOWN: And Henry fires the free kick into the wall
38
HANDBAGS: Wilshere fouls Henry on the edge of the area and then a few players get involved. Fabregas and Foley come together and the Spaniard goes down, thought there didn’t look to be much in that.
37
DJOUROU CLEARS INSIDE THE AREA: Milijas swings in a dangerous left-footed cross and the defender clears from the penalty spot
35
FABIANSKI PALMS IT AWAY: A cross from the left is deflected towards the far corner by Squillaci and with Hunt on hand to head home from a yard the goalkeeper makes a crucial save with a strong left hand. Great acrobatics shown by the Pole there
33
ARSHAVIN CAN’T CONTROL IT: Fabregas fires a ball into the Russian’s feet on the edge of the area but Stearman sticks a toe out and clears
32
WOLVES ON THE ATTACK: They keep possession for a good 20 passes but Hunt over-hits his cross and Arsenal win the ball back
29
MISTAKE FROM DJOUROU: He gets caught off balance as a ball gets played through towards Doyle and for a minute it looked as if the striker was away. Luckily for Arsenal, Clichy used all his pace to get back and beat Doyle to the ball and clear well.
28
ARSENAL KEEPING THE BALL: Djourou, Sagna, Wilshere to name but a few knock the ball about on halfway
27
DOYLE HEADS ONTO THE ROOF OF THE NET: Hunt swings in a dangerous ball from the left and the striker glances a header over the bar and just onto the top of the net. Some of the ground though that was in…
25
PRETTY IN PINK: The Arsenal goalkeeper is wearing a bright pink shirt tonight. And I mean BRIGHT pink.
23
MILIJAS WITH A LONG SHOT: Left-footed he fires straight at Fabianski who makes a smart stop as it just bounces in front of him
22
WELL WHAT HAPPENED THERE? Embarrassing for Foley as he jumps for a header with Fabregas and then goes down in a heap. Replays show that the ball just hit him in the face and he went down...
20
ARSHAVIN HAS A SHOT BLOCKED: He has a go from the edge of the area and his effort hits Ward and is cleared
18
FABREGAS DRAGS ONE WIDE: From 25 yards he scuffs an effort wide of the left-hand post
17
SNAP SHOT FROM FABREGAS: Arsenal with all the play here and the captain goes close to making it two. The ball gets crossed into the six-yard box and is blocked by Berra. It falls to the feet of Chamakh who sets up Fabregas from eight yards and he fires a shot at the legs of Hahnemann who makes a slightly fortunate save
15
CHAMAKH TRIES TO THREAD IT THROUGH TO SONG: He and Arshavin exchange passes on the edge of area before Chamakh holds onto it for a while and the attack loses momentum. The striker then tries to find Song on the edge of the area but Stearman intercepts
14
CLICHY CLEARS IMPORTANTLY: Wolves play a dangerous ball to the back post and the defender clears well with his left foot with Jarvis closing in
12
FABREGAS SHANKS ONE WELL WIDE: That was a bit ambitious from the captain, but worth an effort... I think. He receives the ball from Rosicky before having a shot from all of 35 yards. He got it all wrong and it goes horribly wide
10

I'VE JUST SEEN A REPLAY OF CHAMAKH’S HEADER: Song’s ball was perfect. Chamakh’s header was clinical into the bottom-left corner
8
It looks like Edwards was carrying a knock and has gone straight down the tunnel. Not a great start for the home side. Arsenal wont mind though!
7
Substitution Substitution for Wolves: Hunt for Edwards
4
ARSHAVIN CREATES A CHANCE FOR HIMSELF: He mugged Mancienne on the edge of his own area and went one on one with Hahnemann. The keeper rushed off his line and blocked well from the Russian. That could have been game over after just four minutes
2
WHAT A START: People were still finding their seats as that one went in. The home side look understandably shell-shocked
1
HOW MANY SECONDS WAS THAT? Song crossed from the right and Chamakh headed home unchallenged from eight yards. Amazing!
1
GOAL! - Marouane Chamakh 0 : 1 GOAL FOR ARSENAL! Incredible..CHAMAKH HAS GOT IT.
Kick Off And we’re underway… COME ON YOU GUNNERS!
The Arsenal manager expressed his admiration for Kevin Doyle earlier and he starts tonight for the opposition. “He is generous, intelligent, has good skill and technique and likes to bring other players in [to the game],” the Frenchman told Arsenal.com. I like the fact that he is not only a striker but a team player as well.” The Gunners will have to be wary of his threat tonight..
Kick off is now just five minutes away…
Wenger has also stated his belief that Fabregas is now fully over his hamstring injury and tonight will be a different player to the one we have seen in recent weeks. “He is completely clear [of his injury]. It has taken a lot out of him mentally and I believe that the fact he came through well against Newcastle you will see a different player on Wednesday night.” Only time will tell I guess but I’ve got my fingers crossed for some Cesc magic tonight.
Anyway back to all matters Wolves… This season’s Premier League title race is the most open for a long time according to the Boss and tonight’s game gives a great example of why. “The level [of the teams in the league] has gone up and I think the physical resistance of the teams who are a bit less good technically has become stronger. All the teams in the Premier League can remain disciplined for 90 minutes therefore you have a little bit less difference made in the second half than years before.”
Quite special I think you’ll agree...
On a completely separate note if there are ANY Arsenal fans who haven’t seen Jay Emmanuel-Thomas’ incredible goal for the Reserves on Monday then copy the following address into your internet browser and take a look at a FREE VIDEO of it on Arsenal.com. I was lucky enough to be there and I can confidently say it is best piece of skill I have ever seen - http://bit.ly/coCvY2
Talking of Molineux… I spoke to Tim Nash of the Wolverhampton Express and Star earlier and he told me this: “It is a tough place to go, the fans are pretty vocal and get right behind the team, it’s a bit of a fortress. They will go into the Arsenal game with some degree of confidence because of how well they are playing.”
Much has been made about Wolves physicality though make no mistake they are a side that like to get the ball down and play football. With a full house and under the floodlights the atmosphere will no doubt be a fiery one up at Molineux.

After Sunday’s surprise defeat we can’t afford many more slip-ups and with Manchester United facing Manchester City and Chelsea in a local derby against Fulham, tonight is a great opportunity to re-affirm our title ambitions.
By the way tonight's substitutes are Szczesny, Eboue, Nasri, Walcott, Denilson, Van Persie, Bendtner
Laurent Koscielny starts his two-game suspension so Johan Djourou replaces him and partners Sebastien Squillaci at centre half. Tomas Rosicky and Andrey Arshavin come in to midfield as Samir Nasri and Theo Walcott drop to the bench. Cesc Fabregas, Jack Wilshere and Alex Song all start and Marouane Chamakh continues to spearhead the Arsenal attack.
So three changes from the side that lost to Newcastle on Sunday..
The Arsenal team is in and here it is... Fabianski, Sagna, Squillaci, Djourou, Clichy, Fabregas, Rosicky, Song, Wilshere, Arshavin, Chamakh
