90
WE'RE INTO INJURY TIME NOW: It doesn’t matter how many minutes of them. Arsenal are coasting here and Upton Park is half empty
89
SMART SAVE FROM GREEN: Wilshere lets fly from outside the area and his effort heads towards the bottom-right corner before the goalkeeper gets down low to make a great stop
88
Substitution And for West Ham: Nouble on for Bridge
88
Substitution And Gibbs for Nasri
88
Substitution CHANGES GALORE: Firstly, for Arsenal: Arshavin comes on for Walcott
87
NOPE: Arsenal get it back again…
87
WEST HAM WIN IT BACK…
86
HOW MANY PASSES IS THIS? At least 50 I'd say
86
AND STILL….
85
ARSENAL STILL HAVE THE BALL: Yes, a good three minutes later, the men in yellow still have it
82
SEEING OUT THE FINAL 10 MINUTES: More keep ball from Arsenal as they string a number of passes together in the West Ham half
81
EBOUE GOES FORWARD: He goes past Walcott down the right before receiving a pass from his team mate. Eboue then cuts inside Upson but can’t get away from Bridge who clears
80

79
Substitution HERE HE COMES: Fabregas is the man withdrawn and he gives the captains armband to Van Persie before leaving the field to a standing ovation from the Arsenal fans
78
DENILSON IMMINENT: He is getting a few last-minute instructions from Pat Rice before coming on
77
EARLY EXITS: After that goal there is a mass exodus of West Ham fans who have seen enough of this
76
GOAL! - Robin van Persie 0 : 3 VAN PERSIE TUCKS IT AWAY: He places the ball to the right of Green who, despite going the right way, can’t get to it and Arsenal go 3-0 up…
74
PENALTY TO ARSENAL: Walcott is too quick for Bridge, who clips him just on the angle of the area and the referee is left with no option but to point to the spot
73
WEST HAM FANS FRUSTRATED: Their team have made a number of sloppy passes and another one from Upson gets the home fans up
72
DJOUROU DOES WELL AGAIN: Hines looks to get in behind the defender but Djourou rebuffs the danger before kicking the ball off the striker for a goal kick
70
20 MINUTES TO GO: Arsenal are in second gear here, and have been for most of this game. They have controlled things in the second half and there looks to be no way back for West Ham
69
COLE DOWN IN A HEAP: He seemed to fall awkwardly on his left leg and looks in a bit of pain here
68
Don't forget our post-match phone-in. Lines are open after the full-time whistle and the number you will need to dial is 020 7607 3200. If you're calling from outside the UK, dial +44 20 7607 3200.
67
TACTICS: Fabregas has swapped with Nasri and is now playing more from the left for the time being
66
CLEVER FROM VAN PERSIE: He plays a wonderful ball down the left to Fabregas who wins a corner off Upson
65
HINES BUSTLES HIS WAY THROUGH: He gets two shots away that are blocked by Djourou on both occasions. It’s all a bit desperate from West Ham when they get it
64
ARSENAL SUBSTITUTES WARMING UP: Denilson, Chamakh and Arshavin are gong through their paces in front of me
63
Substitution WEST HAM CHANGE: Barrera on for Sears
61
SZCZESNY FORCED INTO ACTION: That was a bit of an odd one. Sears crossed from the right and it took a deflection before sailing towards the far corner. The goalkeeper had to throw out a left hand to put that behind
60
OFF THE WALL: Nasri runs over it leaving Van Persie to strike with his left foot. It clips the wall and goes behind for a corner
59
WILSHERE WINS A FREE KICK: 25 yards out in a central position and Nasri is standing over it…
58
'Nananananana Samir Na-sa-ri.....' Is all you can hear around Upton Park at the moment
57
WELL PLAYED KOSCIELNY: Faubert plays a decent ball into the channel and the defender gets there ahead of Cole to see it out for a goal kick.
55
Don't forget our post-match phone-in. Lines are open after the full-time whistle and the number you will need to dial is 020 7607 3200. If you're calling from outside the UK, dial +44 20 7607 3200.
54
SNAP SHOT FROM WALCOTT: But Greens gathers low down
53
KEEP BALL: Pass after pass after pass as Arsenal keep the ball away from West Ham. If it continues like this it could be a long second half for the home side
52
CLOSE FROM BRDIGE: That is the closest West Ham have come all evening. The left back curls a free kick towards the top corner and the ball deflects off Van Persie in the wall before going just wide of the left-hand post
51
FIZZED OVER BY VAN PERSIE: It's all Arsenal at the start of this second period. West Ham give the ball away cheaply and Wilshere nicks in before laying it back to the Dutchman. With his right foot he drills an effort inches over the bar from 25 yards out
50
WALCOTT NEARLY IN: He plays a neat one-two with Song before racing into the area and winning a corner off Bridge
49
WALCOTT LINES ONE UP: He is the next man to have a go but his effort is weak from outside the area
48
VAN PERSIE TWISTING AND TURNING: He turns a West Ham defender inside out on the right of the area before smashing an effort at Green’s near post. The goalkeeper stands up well to make a decent stop
47
FABREGAS HAS A GO: Literally from the kick off Arsenal won the ball and the captain bobbles an effort wide of the left post from outside the area
47
AS YOU WERE: Nope, as I thought, no changes for either side.
Kick Off AND WE’RE OFF: Cole and Boa Morte get the second half going
45
The West Ham players are slowly trudging out a minutes or so later
45
ARSENAL PLAYERS BACK OUT: It’s doesn’t look like any changes at the break for the Gunners.
45
What are your thoughts on the first half? Get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio.
Half Time AND THERE GOES THE HALF-TIME WHISTLE: That couldn’t have gone much better for Arsenal, 2-0 at the break and they are good value for their lead
45
ARSENAL CONTOLLING IT: They are seeing out the first 45 minutes comfortably here
44
DJOUROU GOES CLOSE: I can’t believe what I’ve just seen. Johan Djourou, the man who has never scored an Arsenal goal, running into the area and going one-on-one with Green. As the goalkeeper comes out he tries to dink the ball over him but can’t lift it over him. That would have been special!
43
ARSENAL HAVE REALLY PLAYED SOME EXCELLENT FOOTBAL SO FAR: Dare I say it? But maybe some of the best stuff they have played this season. At times they have torn West Ham apart at their will.
42
WHAT A LET OFF: Sears crosses from the right and Djourou seems to slip which gives Cole a free header. He can’t get enough on it and only glances the ball onto Djourou and out for a corner
41
Van Persie latches onto a dinked ball over the top and gets to the byline on the left before cutting the ball back for Walcott. Bridge misjudges it and Walcott lashes the ball into the roof of the net from eight yards
41
GOAL! - Theo Walcott 0 : 2 WALCOTT DOUBLES THE LEAD! 2-0 Arsenal…
37
SO CLOSE FROM NASRI: West Ham carved open again, this time by a great one-two with Fabregas. 10 yards from goal he flashes an effort across goal from the left but just misses the target
36
Luckily for him… It comes to nothing
35
STRANGE DECISION FROM KOVAC: The ball comes off him last but he still sheppards the ball out for a corner. Interesting..
33
WEST HAM GETTING TORN APART: Fabregas, Song, Nasri, Wilshere all exchange passes on the edge of the area and West Ham can’t get near the ball. Fabregas eventually cuts the ball back across goal but Kovac clears
31
ARSENAL BOSSING IT NOW: They are cutting West Ham apart almost at will. Nasri twists and turns on the right and should win a corner but the linesman strangely gives a goal kick
30
VAN PERSIE SMACKS THE POST: Nasri and Van Persie combine expertly and that probably should have been 2-0. The latter is released with a great through ball and from the left of the area and then thunders the base of the far post
28
ARSENAL GETTING A FOOT HOLD: That West Ham pressure has subsided now and the men in yellow are beginning to boss things again
26
BRILLIANT FOOTBALL: That deserved a goal, after that spell of West Ham pressure, Arsenal break the way on they know how to. Van Persie starts it all off by spreading the ball out to Fabregas on the left and he then cuts into the area before squaring for the Dutchman. First time, he lays the ball to Song 12 yards from goal. His shot hits Tomkins and it takes any sting out of the effort and Green collects easily
25
Come on Arsenal fans, give us your thoughts. Get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio.
24
WEST HAM MOMENTUM: The home fans want a penalty for a foul on Cole but they aren’t going to get it. This is West Ham’s best period without a doubt and Arsenal are struggling to get out at the moment.
23
STILL DANGER: The ball comes out to Boa Morte who beats his man before Hines takes the ball of his toe and he fires agonisingly over the bar
22
GREAT SAVE SZCZESNY: Boy, that was some stop! A rare mistake from Djourou as his underhit back pass lets in Cole. From a narrow angle the ‘keeper stands up well to make a brilliant stop at his near post
20
Substitution WEST HAM CHANGE: That must be a problem for Noble and he is replaced by Boa Morte
18
WALCOTT FLUFFS HIS LINES: The winger makes a great run down the middle and is picked out by Fabregas. Tomkins, struggles to get back but Walcott doesn’t catch it cleanly and Green makes a comfortable save
17
EXPERTLY DONE FROM DJOUROU: Yet again, West Ham play a ball over the top and with Hines looking to latch onto it, the defender comes across to clear the danger. He has arguably been Arsenal’s best player so far
16
UPTON PARK STUNNED: The West Ham fans have lost their voices and all you can hear are the travelling supporters. ‘It’s so quiet, it’s so quiet…’ is the chant
14
Yellow Card BOOKING FOR FAUBERT: He chops down Fabregas on the touchline and rightly goes into the book
13
GREAT GOAL: That all looked so simple! Walcott got to the right of the area before passing to the feet of Nasri. He stepped over the ball which took two defender out of the game and Van Persie’s snap-shot beat Green at his near post. That was with the Dutchman’s RIGHT foot by way. 1-0 to the Arsenal….
13
GOAL! - Robin van Persie 0 : 1 GOAL FOR ARSENAL! Van Persie gives the Gunners the lead!
12
GREAT COVER FROM CLICHY: Hines does well on the left before crossing into a dangerous position before Clichy comes across expertly to clear for a corner
11
ALL A BIT SCAPPY: It’s a bit congested in midfield with West Ham pressing Arsenal when they have possession
10
What have you made of things so far? Get your comments to us via www.arsenal.com/studio.
8
WEST HAM AS AN ATTACKING THREAT: They look content to play diagonal balls to Cole and feed from him. So far, Djourou and Koscielny have dealt well with what little has been thrown at them
7
FIRST SAVE OF THE EVENING: Nasri lets fly from quite a way out and the ball flicks off Tomkins before going straight into the arms of the grateful Green
6
STRONG PLAY FROM DJOUROU: Cole runs into the channel and looks to latch on to a through ball but the Swiss defender uses his body well to come across and win the ball
5
GOOD START FROM THE AWAY SIDE: Arsenal have settled much the better of the two sides so far and are looking comfortable on the ball
5
FIRST TOUCH FOR SZCZESNY: And it’s rather a nervy one as, under pressure, he overhits a pass to Clichy to concede a throw in
4
INTO THE WALL: Van Persie can’t get it over the West Ham wall
3
FREE KICK ARSENAL: For handball after West Ham cleared. Van Persie is lining it up, 25/30 yards from goal and in a central position…
3
EARLY ARSENAL PRESSURE: Eboue crosses into the box form the right and Faubert is forced to put it behind for a corner
2
TACTICS: Walcott from the right, Nasri from the left. All as we expected with Song and Wilshere holding.
Kick Off AND WE’RE UNDERWAY: Fabregas and Van Persie get things going and Arsenal will be kicking from left to right in this first half
A few final niceties: The two captains shake hand and we’re nearly ready to go… COME ON YOU GUNNERS!
More importantly, we need a win to keep pressure on the Premier League leaders!
