Full Time ALL OVER: Samir Nasri and Arsenal 2-1 Fulham
90
WHISTLES: But from the home fans and not the referee. That must be that… surely?
90
AND A GOAL KICK TO ARSENAL: That was cheered as loudly as the goal as Johnson can’t control and it trickles behind
90
DEMPSEY GOES DOWN: Inside the area but the referee doesn’t want to know…
90
FOUR MINUTES OF TIME ADDED ON: Fulham are looking to throw everything at the Arsenal goal but Djourou and Squillaci are standing strong
88
Substitution FULHAM CHANGE: Eddie Johnson on for Murhpy. One last throw of the dice for Hughes…
87
GREAT STOP FROM FABIANSKI: Gera lets fly from 25 yards and the ‘keeper makes great save down low to his right and diverts the ball behind for a corner.
86
FULHAM WITH THE BALL: But Arsenal are defender strongly…
85
DJOUROU HACKS CLEAR: Fulham desperately look to get back into the game and with Etuhu just about to pull the trigger the defender clears well from the penalty spot
83
NEWS FROM STAMFORD BRIDGE: Chelsea have been pegged back to 1-1 by Everton…
81
CHAMAKH AND VAN PERSIE: We wondered how Wenger would play the two together and here could be the answer. Chamakh has continued in his usual position with Van Persie in the spot just behind him. The traditional ‘No 10’ role’
80

79
CHAMAKH TWISTS AND TURNS: The striker does well to find space and get a left-footed shot away though his effort goes just over the crossbar
77
ETHHU DRILLS WIDE: Arsenal fail to clear from a cross and the midfielder stabs an effort just the right side of the post from our point of view
75
WHAT MORE CAN WE SAY ABOUT HIM?: Van Persie slips in the midfielder inside the area and he weaves past two challenges with magical footwork. Nasri then rounds Schwarzer and fires into the empty net from a tight angle. What a goal and what a player!
75
GOAL! - Samir Nasri 2 : 1 GOAL FOR ARSENAL!: Nasri makes it 2-1…
73
Substitution AND FOR ARSENAL: Walcott on for Wilshere and he goes onto the right.
73
Substitution CHANGES ALL ROUND: First for Fulham: Andrew Johnson on for Kamara
71
SQUILLACI WITH AN IMPORTANT HEADER: Davies crosses well from the right and with Gera waiting the French defender does well to divert the ball away from danger
70

69
OFF THE LINE FROM VAN PERSIE: We didn’t want him at that end of the pitch by the captain makes a vital clearance there. Hangeland headed goalwards from a corner and Van Persie was on hand to clear from under the crossbar
67
FULHAM TAKING THEIR TIME: With every throw in, every free kick and every corner...
65
WASTEFUL FROM SONG: He does well to hurry Pantsil into a mistake on the byline and is presented with a shooting opportunity. From a narrow angle he bends an effort high and wide of far post must to the frustration of the home fans
64
CAPTAIN FANTASTIC: The Arsenal No 10 is given the captain’s armband for the final half an hour. Boy, do we need him to perform here. He still isn’t fully fit but a goal here and we won’t care!
63
Substitution HERE HE COMES…: With the scores at 1-1 it was only a matter of time before we saw Van Persie, and Rosicky comes off for the Dutch striker
62
NASRI RUNS INTO HANGELAND: Great counter-attacking play from Arsenal as Wilshere and Rosicky find the Frenchman on the right. He cuts inside and finds and beats two Fulham defenders before Hangeland uses his strength and wins the ball back
61
ETUHU HEADS WIDE: Fulham win a corner and though he jumps highest, Etuhu can’t only send his header well wide of the right post
60

59
DJOUROU GETS IT FROM KAMARA: He’s played well since coming on and again he gets the better of the Fulham frontman
57
‘Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal….’: The whole stadium is really getting behind the side here. This is the loudest I’ve heard Emirates for a while…
55
ARSHAVIN FIRES IN A LOW SHOT: He weaves past a number of challenges inside the area before drilling an effort straight at Schwarzer.
54
IT’S GETTING HEATED OUT THERE: And the Arsenal faithful are rising to this! Wilshere and then Song win 50/50s in midfield before Arshavin is fouled. I think the Emirates knows the importance of this next 35/40 minutes.
52
FIZZED JUST WIDE FROM ROSICKY: Nasri plays a great ball into the area and finds Song on the byline. He holds off the challenge of two defenders before cutting it back to Rosicky on the edge of the area. First time, he hits a stinging volley towards the bottom-left corner though it creeps just wide
50
MOMENTUM: The away side have started this half brightly though the Gunners seem to be finding rhythm slowly but surely.
49
FULHAM WIN A CORNER: Dempsey hits an ambitious half-volley towards goal and it deflects behind off Song
48
‘ROBIN VAN PERSIE…’: Sing the Arsenal fans as the Dutchman warms up down to my right…
47
THAT NIGHT FEEL: The floodlights are even stronger at the start of this second half and with darkness falling in London it’s really got the feel of Champions League game now. The crowd are responding as they try to get behind the team
46
AND WE’RE AWAY: ‘Arsenal Arsenal, Arsenal…' sing the North Bank
45
Fulham players out: The away side walk onto the pitch and are closely followed by the Gunners. The importance of the second half cannot be underestimated. We need a win here! Come on you Gunners!
Half Time AND THERE’S THE HALF-TIME WHISTLE: Arsenal had much the better of things at the start of the game though that goal has given the away side real impetus. All square at the break..
44
VITAL STOP FROM FABIANSKI: Etuhu plays in the striker who goes one-on-one with Fabianski. The goalkeeper makes himself big and forces Kamara to fire straight at the Arsenal keeper
43
GREAT CENTRE FORWARD PLAY FROM CHAMAKH: Sagna whips in a great ball from the right and Chamakh towers above Hangeland. 12 yards from goal he bullets a head at goal and if that was either side of the ‘keeper we’re looking at 2-1.
41
CHAMAKH FLICKS OVER: Wilshere delivers another great ball into the area from a free kick and Chamakh rises highest but his effort loops over the top of the bar
39
ARSHAVIN CUTS OPEN THE FULHAM DEFENCE: Three Fulham defenders are taken out of the game with a great reverse pass from the Russian. Though Nasri just can’t get on the end of it and Schwarzer gathers
37
FABIANSKI PUCHES CLEAR: From that corner the Pole gets a strong right hand to the ball
36
FULHAM ATTACKING AGAIN: They win a throw in down by the corner flag and Dempsey does well to win a corner
34
FULHAM WITH THE WIND BETWEEN THEIR SAILS: That goal really has given Mark Hughes’ side a lot of belief as they enjoy a few spells position in decent positions
33
Substitution CHANGE FOR ARSENAL: After that clash of heads between Squillaci and Koscielny the latter is down and it he gets stretchered off. Johan Djourou comes on in his place
31
DEARY ME: It’s been all Arsenal here and that goal has come completely against the run of play
30
Koscielny and Squillaci both go for a header and collide. The ball drops to Gera who slips in Kamara inside the area and he finishes well past Fabianski
30
GOAL! - Diomansy Kamara 1 : 1 Goal for Fulham: Kamara makes it 1-1
28
Substitution CHANGE FOR FULHAM: Baird on for Briggs
26
SONG VOLLEY’S WIDE: Rosicky crosses into a dangerous position and with three Arsenal men waiting the Cameroon man side-foots an effort just wide from 12 yards out.
25
HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN?: More magic from Nasri so nearly creates the second for Arsenal. He beats Briggs on the left with a great bit of skill by flicking the ball over the defender. He drives into the penalty area before cutting the ball back to the waiting Chamakh. Etuhu gets a toe to the ball and sends it goalwards though fortunately for Fulham it falls into the grateful hands of Schwarzer
23
ARSHAVIN TESTS SCHWARZER: The midfielder picks the ball up 25 yards and goal and, not for the first time, runs at Hangeland. The defender fails to close him down and Arshavin forces a smart save down the ‘keeper’s right with a low effort
21
KAMARA UP THERE ON HIS OWN: He wins a flick on from a long put up field from Schwarzer though he has no support and Squillaci has time to clear
18
THAT GOAL HAD BEEN COMING: Arsenal had dominated possession in the opening stages and have continued to do so since the goal. The Gunners have really controlled the game from midfield with Rosicky and Arshavin central to everything
16
Will Arsenal dominate from here? Email us via www.arsenal.com/studio, use the 'Facebook Chat' tab to interact with other fans or Tweet us via @ArsenalTVOnline.
14
HOW CALM WAS THAT FROM NASRI?!: With men throwing their bodies in front of him he casually side-stepped past one, and then past another and then the finish… BRILLIANT!
14
Arshavin feeds Nasri inside the area and he calmly dribbles past three defenders before smashing the ball into the roof of the net from close range
14
GOAL! - Samir Nasri 1 : 0 GOAL FOR ARSENAL: Nasri gives the Gunners the lead…
12
NASRI TOES WIDE: Arshavin runs at the Fulham defence and slips in Nasri who just prods his effort wide of the left post
10
SCUFFED FROM GERA: Though, that is the away sides’ first attempt on goal. 25 yards from goal he has a go wit his right foot though doesn’t catch it well at all and Fabianski sees it harmlessly wide of his left-hand post
9

8
LOVELY FOOTBALL FROM ARSENAL: Nasri, Arshavin, Chamakh and then Rosicky. That really was brilliant from the quartet. Nasri has the ball on the left and feeds Arshavin who flicks the ball to Chamakh on the edge of area. First time he passes to Rosicky who looks to play a return ball but Chamakh just cant get on the end of it
7
SWEETLY STRUCK FROM ARSHAVIN: Wilshere swings in a free kick from the right and when Squillaci heads on the ball comes to the Russian six yards from goal. He catches his volley as purely as you can imagine but fires straight at the Fulham ‘keeper who stands up well
5
LOW-KEY START: No real chances, or even attacks for that matter, in the opening five minutes.
4
ROSICKY FELLED IN MIDFIELD: He is caught by Murphy and as they always do, the Gunners get on with it straight away with short snappy passes to feet.
3
EARLY POSSESSION FOR ARSENAL: Fulham seem content to get men behind the ball with only Kamara staying forward
3
EARLY TOUCH FOR ARSHAVIN: And he is roundly jeered by the Fulham fans in the far-left corner. That is no doubt in reference to his involvement with the successful Russian 2018 World Cup bid. He can’t find space for a cross and Fulham clear
2
TACTICS: Arshavin from the left, Nasri from the right and Rosicky down the middle. All, of course, supporting Chamakh up front
Kick Off AND WE’RE UNDERWAY: A HUGE roar greets the referee’s opening whistle... COME ON YOU REDS!
Captains shake hands: Rosicky and Murphy, and Arsenal will kick from left to right in this first half
Arsenal led by captain Tomas Rosicky and as ever in red shirts, white shorts and red socks.
AND HERE THEY COME…..
2.55pm and five minutes until kick-off. The weekend well and truly starts NOW. Gunnersaurus is doing a final few stretches as we await the players, hopefully we won’t need him to come on and score us a goal today!
It’s a relatively mild December afternoon here with nothing like the frost of Tuesday night’s Carling Cup game. The groundsmen are making a few final checks as they do just before the game and as ever, the Emirates pitch is looking in superb condition. One of the best in the world? Oh, I think so.
The players have just made their back down the tunnel for a few last minute instructions from their managers as kick-off gets ever closer…
I’ve just taken my seat in the press box and the atmosphere is really building here at Emirates Stadium. The floodlights are on which I always think adds to the anticipation before a game!

The MatchDay Show gets underway at 2.30pm (UK time) with highlights of Tuesday’s Carling Cup win over Wigan, the best bits from Arsène Wenger’s pre-match press conference, highlights from an exclusive interview with the manager and all the breaking team news.
So, another weekend and another day of following the Arsenal. The majority of the snow has cleared in north London so any fears (not there were many) of the game falling to the weather have been firmly put to bed. After two wins in a week over Aston Villa and Wigan things don’t seem so bad all of a sudden! Beating Fulham today would take that tally to three victories in seven days and set up the busy festive period pretty nicely wouldn’t you say?
I'm Giuseppe Muro and I’ll be bringing you minute by minute updates from today’s game.
Good afternoon everyone and welcome to Arsenal TV Online’s MatchDay Show!
